Sunday March 12th,2017, NOON to 4PM - DIRECTIONS:
Follow map towards Someday Farm in Dorset, Vermont. If you can plug in an intersection on your GPS, use "Dorset Hill Road and Upper Squirrel Hollow Road" (do not try and access Dorset Hill via Squirrel Hollow because it is not a through street). While on Dorset Hill Road, before reaching Upper Squirrel Hollow Road and Someday Farm itself, you will see a pull off on the left hand side with a sign that reads "TRAIL: A PUBLIC HIGHWAY". Stop here and park, but DO NOT BLOCK ANY ROAD OR PATH - park in a single line on the west side of Dorset Hill Road, north or south of the PUBLIC HIGHWAY.
Follow the trail into the woods on foot and take only the right hand path when it forks. The trail will split again further up, but keep to the right always. There will be other roads heading up the mountain, but just stay on the main trail to reach the Quarry entrance, clearly visible from the path. About halfway to quarry you will see an old shack on the left hand side. It is about 3/4 of a mile to quarry from road, and should take about 20-30 minutes to get there on foot. there are two large entrances to quarry off the path, and either one is fine to take in or exit from. The second entrance is less icy.
We will be distributing more detailed programs at noon, so do try and get there on time, or get lost!
